SEE-Stats - South East Renewable Energy Statistics
is an initiative undertaken by TV Energy and sub-regional data partners on behalf of the South East of England Sustainable Energy Partnership, led by the Government Office for the South East
(GOSE).
June 2007: The SEE-Stats database contains a total of 385 operational and 106 planned installations in the region. The most significant installed capacity is landfill gas (138 MW electrical), followed by offshore wind (90 MW electrical), biomass co-firing (65 MW electrical), dedicated biomass (40 MW electrical, 28 MW thermal) and sewage gas (3 MW electrical). There has been an increase of 3.5 MW thermal biomass heating capacity and 0.1 MW electrical solar PV capacity since the last update in December 2007.
The sub-regional data collection partners are TV Energy (Thames Valley, Surrey & northern
Hampshire); CEN
(Kent); ECSC (East Sussex, West Sussex & Brighton); the Environment Centre (southern Hampshire,
the Isle of Wight).
